Council to accept applications to fill Ward One vacancy
The City Council by majority vote of all of its remaining members shall appoint a qualified person to fill the vacancy until the next regular municipal election in April 2017, at which time the seat shall be up for election for the one (1)-year unexpired term.

Raymore, Belton to host Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Event Aug. 6
The City of Raymore, in partnership with Mid-America Regional Council and the City of Belton, will be holding its annual household hazardous waste collection day from 8 a.m. - noon on Saturday, Aug. 6.

Sign up for the County's new emergency notification service
Starting in March, CODE RED will no longer be providing that notification service for residents of Cass County. We are encouraging residents to sign up for the County's newest notification system, Everbridge. This system will contact residents in the same way CODE RED did during severe weather or other emergency incidents.

Flags lowered to honor the victims in Dallas
By order of the President of the United States, effective immediately, the United States flag at all State and government offices will be flown at half-staff, until sunset on Tuesday, July 12, in honor of the victims of the attack in Dallas, Texas.
