The Development Services Department oversees planning for and managing the growth of the City, including planning, zoning and development review, permitting and building inspections, and code enforcement. Staff is responsible for:

• Developing and implementing the Unified Development Code and Growth Management Plan
• Overseeing the development and plan review process
• Implementing adopted building and property maintenance codes. 

The Department also oversees the City's GIS and mapping programs and manages geographic and spatial information about the City.
