BIG Data for Small Businesses - SizeUp Business Intelligence Tool
In response to COVID-19, economic developers and business owners in Evergy’s service territory can address the urgent crisis facing the most at-risk local businesses and workforce – including mitigating your organization’s operational challenges – all online. The Evergy Economic Development team is providing access to SizeUp’s business intelligence for FREE. SizeUp is big data for small businesses that gives business intelligence and market research to companies so they can make smarter decisions through data.

State of Missouri - Business Resources
If your startup has exhausted all funding sources and you still need access to capital to expand, connect with your local economic development agency/local government to learn about this loan program. This program can help finance new machinery and working equipment, construct space or provide working capital.

Federal Loan Programs
- The 7(a) Loan Program, the U.S. Small Business Administration's most common loan program, includes financial help for businesses with special requirements.
- Guarantee with a bank loan of between 70-85%.
- The SBA 504 Loan Program is a powerful economic development loan program that offers small businesses another avenue for business financing, while promoting business growth, and job creation. The 504 Loan Program provides approved small businesses with long-term, fixed-rate financing used to acquire fixed assets for expansion or modernization. 504 loans are made available through Certified Development Companies (CDCs), SBA's community based partners for providing 504 Loans.
