The Engineering Division of Public Works is involved with the construction of subdivision infrastructure and capital improvement projects including:

  • Water mains
  • Storm/sanitary sewers
  • Street construction

Engineering also manages the annual contracted street maintenance program which includes:

  • Asphalt overlay
  • Curb repair
  • Large scale asphalt patching
  • Street striping

Annual Street Preservation

The City invests more than $1 million each year into its annual street preservation program. The2024-street-preservation-map Raymore City Council approved the award of contract for this year's project to JM Fahey for $1,040,582.50. Street preservation work will start in late June.

Streets on the 2024 Street Preservation Plan include:

  • Cody Drive* from S. Huntsman Boulevard to S. Pelham Path

  • Saddle Brook Road from S. Foxridge Drive to Cedar Ridge Drive

  • S. Eastglen Drive from Johnston Drive to S Westglen Drive

  • Coventry Lane from Bristol to the north dead end

  • N. Lakeshore Drive* from Johnston Parkway to Silver Lake Circle

  • Stratford Drive* from N. Oxford Drive to N. Highland Drive

  • N. Oxford Drive* from N. Lakeshore Drive to the end of the cul-de-sac

  • N. Highland Drive* from Stratford Drive to N. Lakeshore Drive

  • Wiltshire from Heritage to Buffalo

  • Furlong from Sunny to Secretariat

  • S. Madison from Lucy Webb to Hubach Hill

  • S. Washington from Sycamore to Mulberry

  • N. Washington Street from Heritage to E Foxwood Drive

  • Crane Street* from Toucan Street to the end of the cul-de-sac

  • Poseidon Way/Venus Court/Saturn Drive/Cupid Court

  • Dean Avenue from Hickory Leaf to Lucy Webb

* Streets that are also getting curb repair first and will not be paved until the fall
