Responsibilities
The City of Raymore is a well-kept community and citizens expect that neighbors will maintain their properties, and that neighborhoods will be well-maintained. The City Code Enforcement Officer identifies, investigates, and responds to complaints concerning violations of the City Code and related policies. The Code Officer is also proactive in enforcement by driving around in the City and spotting code violations.
The City's full-time code enforcement officer is available to assist in issues related to:
- Weeds or Tall Grass
- Lack of property maintenance
- Unlicensed or inoperable vehicles
- Trash or debris in yard
- Other situations related to codes
