Join the City of Raymore on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, for a community litter clean-up! 

***LOCATION CHANGE: The Good Parkway Linear Park stream area is difficult to access due to tall brush, so we are changing the location for the litter clean-up to Hawk Ridge Park. Meet at the south parking lot at Hawk Ridge Park by the bathrooms (do not meet at the shelter at the end of Johnston at the playground- it's reserved for a private event).***

We'll give a short safety talk at 9 a.m. while you enjoy donuts and coffee, and we'll provide gloves and trash bags for the clean up along the stream at the linear park.

This event is open to adults and to children old enough to pick up litter, so bring the family!

Bring water in a reusable water bottle. Cups will be provided for coffee, but we'd be delighted if you also brought a reusable cup or mug to cut down on single use waste.

Wear old clothing and shoes/boots you don't mind getting muddy. Costumes are welcome (but also may get muddy)!

The official Hawk Ridge Park address is 701 Johnston Pkwy, however attendees will pull into the south parking lot closer to 605 Johnston Pkwy at the south parking lot. See aerial photo for south parking lot location off Johnston Parkway.
