Visit with Raymore police at area coffee spots from 7-9 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2!

The Raymore Police Department will have an officer at the following locations the morning of Oct. 2:
Big Biscuit, 311 S Dean Ave
Bing Coffee, 404 N Fox Ridge Dr
McDonald's, 1120 W Foxwood Dr
Missouri Mud Company, 1294 W Foxwood Dr
Starbucks, 1631 W Foxwood Dr
Foxwood Springs

 

History:
National Coffee with a Cop Day was established in Hawthorne, California, in 2011, when the Hawthorne Police Department had an idea to improve relations with the community. The initiative expanded a few years later, and today the day is celebrated across the U.S. on the first Wednesday in October, as well as other places such as Canada, Europe and Australia.
