Check-in begins at 8 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 16 at Hawk Ridge Park, 701 Johnston Pkwy, for the Walter Buck Memorial Fishing Derby.

Young anglers compete for the heaviest fish, total weight and most fish caught at this free event. Participants enjoy prizes and giveaways. Ages 3-15. No registration required.

Children 3-15 do not need a fishing license for this event, however any adults who will be handling fishing poles during this event (helping your child fish) will need a current Missouri fishing license.
