2023 Spirit of America Celebration

The City of Raymore's annual Spirit of America Celebration features food trucks, live music from Clay Clear Band, food, drinks, inflatables, a dunk tank and fireworks!

Join us at 7 p.m., Friday, June 30 at Recreation Park. Fireworks start just after dusk (around 9:15 p.m.)

Admission is free. Food and drink vendors take cards and cash.

Food/drink vendors: Jack's Old Fashioned Kettle Corn, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade and Cotton Candy, Kona Ice, Taste of Brazil, Shiver's Ice House, Da Poke Wagon, Chik-Fil-A, KC Concoctions, Minsky's Pizza, Embrace the Grape, Dizzy Blender.

While we welcome leashed pets in our parks, this is NOT a pet-friendly event. It's going to be hot. The pavement will be too hot for doggie paws. Dogs do not like fireworks-not even the most chill and cool dogs. Please leave your dogs at home in the air conditioning for this event.

*Please note: For your safety, the trail between Moon Valley and Recreation Park will close for the evening at 6 p.m. due to close proximity to where the fireworks are being discharged.

PARKING: Parking is free at Recreation Park. Please be kind to our workers who are directing traffic. Spaces do fill up generally by 8 p.m.. Once parking is full at the park, vehicle access to the park will be closed. When exiting parking at Rec Park after the event, traffic will only be allowed to go north on Madison Street.

The Pathways Church youth group is conducting a fundraiser and will collect $5 donations to park at the church lot. Vehicle traffic exiting the church lot will only be allowed to exit south on Madison Street.
